Family Life Ministry

“We love because He first loved us” 1 John 4:19

The Family Life Ministry provides oversight to seven separate ministries within Pinn Memorial.  Our Ministry meets five times a year.  Our mission is to address the family life and social issues impacting Christians in today’s society.    The seven specific ministries under the Family Life umbrella include:

A Drive to End Hunger – A Ministry which provides weekly food distribution to community members who may be nutritionally challenged.

Caregiver Support Circle – Monthly support group for caregivers. Provides support, education, resources and information.

55 Alive –Senior citizen ministry that meets twice a week at the church.

Good Grief – Grief counseling and support.

Good Samaritans – Nurses unit provides comfort, care, first aide, support, health education and screenings.

MLK Day of Service – Pinn Memorial’s annual day of service celebration for the community and the congregation.

Scholarship Ministry – Provides educational seminars and annual scholarships to Pinn Memorial high school graduates.

The Family Life Ministry is open to everyone. We welcome all who are interested in joining us!
