Missions & Evangelism Ministry

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’  “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."  Matthew 25: 37 – 40

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  Matthew 28: 19 & 20

The Missions & Evangelism Ministry seeks to lead the Pinn fellowship towards meeting the mandates stated by Jesus Christ in Matthew 25:37-40 &  28:19 & 20.

In an effort to meet these mandates, our ministry sponsors the following:

Weekly: The Sunday Morning Coffee Hour

• Breakfast Food items are served
• Funds support our Missionaries in Mission Fields

Monthly: Visitation to the Sick & Shut-in members of Pinn Memorial

We also make visits to the House of Corrections; (unit of the Philadelphia Prison System), conducted under the auspices of the Philadelphia Baptist Association.

Quarterly:  Visits to the Helping Hands Mission,

• 610 North 6th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123
• Conduct Evening Worship Service
• Assistance with food & clothing distribution

To further edify our church, we sponsor a Luncheon each June with guest preachers who focus on various aspects of Missions & Evangelism. We share a monthly Prayer Calendar which serves as a means by which we remain in one spiritual accord.  We also participate in the Annual Philadelphia Baptist Association  Missions Luncheon which honors Mission servants across the region.

Each year God’s continued Grace and Mercy has enabled us to directly contribute financial support to the ministry of Reverend Gwen & Musa Tra’ore, Pinn’s very own Missionaries in Conakry, Guinea as well as numerous other missions and projects across the globe.

We invite you to join us. Feel free to attend our monthly meetings which are held on the second Saturday of each month at 1:00 pm.
